Working with the managing partners to create a global brand positioning and marketing strategy for the launch of paid subscription products and audience retention initiatives.
Background

Citywire provides news, insights and events for professional investors and advisors around the world, with 45 websites. Launched 23 years ago, Citywire has offices in London, New York, Singapore, Dubai, Paris and Munich.

Approach

We placed a consultant into Citywire to work directly with the CEO and Directors to run a series of strategic workshops alongside the internal team, providing a framework of strategy across global brand, marketing, and acquisition campaigns. We recruited the internal global marketing to activate the strategy and now consult across on-going strategies on a monthly retainer basis.

brief

Citywire’s managing partners initially approached OSER to consult on a tactical US project to drive subscriber acquisition. After this strategic project, we were tasked with setting the global brand and marketing strategies and recruiting the internal marketing team.

Results

Brand consolidation and the launch of Citywire.com. Three new paid-for subscription products created, and customer acquisition live with real-time dashboard reporting with sales, product and marketing optimisation.

Laura’s impact is extraordinary. An excellent communicator and quick to implement her ideas. A real force for good.
