BACKGROUND
High-growth startup Gomi chases sustainability through modern tech design. Focused on the circular economy, Gomi products use non-recyclable plastic waste that would otherwise end up in landfill, be incinerated or dumped in the ocean.
APPROACH
We worked on a brand awareness and performance-led strategy to test out PPC and paid social across the UK & US. We A/B tested different ad copy to optimise across channel and ad copy.
BRIEF
The client wanted a partner to test out paid digital advertising across PPC and paid social, to drive awareness and customer acquisition to gain insights and figure out the CAC.
RESULTS
Within 4 weeks it was clear that PPC wasn’t delivering what we wanted in terms of conversions (we think it was too early in the brand life stage to deliver through PPC alone), so we shifted the budget over to the paid social, with an average CTR of 2.04% (industry average 0.68%).
